Backpacking Ireland isn't hard as you can still pick your day tour and relax while sit back and enjoy the sights from your window.
One things im happy with the provided visiting coach tour here is , they are punctual and goes with the timetable. They dont simply fetch you to non-related factory tour, or stop anywhere else (which you have no idea where they fetch you) as in most of the Asia country did (China ? Thailand ? I hv bad experienced on that)
Plus the tourguide is a Humour and Handsome Young Man (AHHH!!!!) <3 <3
In my country you can only find bold and fat uncle driving the bus.
Well at least when the tour is nothing worth to visit there is still a handsome meat to savour in the coach. (hehehe ...jz joking. Im not that kind of person okay =.=)
Or you can just rent a car and get yourself a reliable gps to drive there.
Around 60€ for 3 days( still depends on the company and type of car)
But you will be very tired -.-!!
Galway
one of the famous county to be visit apart from the city Dublin in Ireland。
You can spent a whole day touring the city of Galway and there are lots of attraction spots to discover.
I took a day tour from county Limerick to Galway for the Connemara tour (located at the West of Galway). The tour depart to and from Limerick city which just cost 30€ , which includes the entrance fee of Kylemore Abbey.
To visit the Connemara from Galway , you can easily get a bus tour from link below:
which the price around 25€ or 30€ would be reasonable for a whole day tour to Connemara from Galway.
(ps: Most of the tour doesnt include lunch hence to save more visiting time , its recommend to prepare your own lunch (sandwiches or anything) and have it in the bus)
Alright, prepare to get "WOW" by the stunning scenery along the road! (photo taken using a cheap 150€ China phone, and still cant beat the scenery!!!)
How beautiful it is!
Along the way to Connemara
The day is so good! and you just feel like running accross the green green land and enjoy the wind.
Another breathtaking scene!
After around 3 hours we had finally reach Kylemore Abbey after passing through county Clark and Galway city from Limerick!
Kylemore Abbey
A Gorgeous castle sitting in the backdrop of woodlands and clean river.
So if you are travelling without the group tours you can purchase the tickets beside the castle.
It cost 13Euro for adults ,10 for seniours and 9 for students. We were given a map so that we dont get lost in the woodlands.
At another end of the castle, there is Victorian Walled Gardens,(included in the tickets) where you can get on a free shuttle bus for every 15 minutes from the castle.
I wouldnt say the garden is big, but it was beautiful.
A coffee shop available infront of the garden.
The view infront of the Kylemore Abbey Castle!
We were given 2 hours to tour the Kylemore Abbey and gardens. I really wish i could have more time!
And besides the castle, there is a small Ghotic church and there are choral performances and events available if you are lucky.
Killary Fjord
On the way back to Galway City, we stop across Killary fjord for some photography.
There are even cruise tour on Killary Fjord that you can take for around 10 euro pps if you have time. The weather is great on that day giving that the winter is just around the corner.
Black sheeps on the green green grass~
We went back to Galway City around 4pm for the city tours.
For more information about the castle in Connemara you can check the link
Kylemore Abbey & Gardens.
The opening time varied every month (i dont know why) so if you are going to drive there by yourself remember to check the time.
THiS iS A MUST to SEE in Galway!!!!
